I’ve been getting somewhat bored of seeing the meme at the top of my blog, given that I hate them. So I decided the best way to get rid of it was to post something, but what can I post about? I don’t know.
I’ve really not been doing a whole lot online lately, infact – i’ve not even really been online that much ( for me, that is ). Coupled with the fact that what I have been doing in the real world isn’t particularly post-worthy, i’m scraping the bottom of the content-barrel for this post. Apologies.
As some of you will know, I applied for the RAF about a month ago. Mostly because I want something to do that’ll keep my oh-so-random mind busy and challenged. Well, I have my aptitude ( selection ) test this thursday and i’m pretty nervous. It looks to be a pretty tough test, so i’ve been doing a lot of reading about it. I don’t feel “ready” for it, but I don’t think anyone ever feels ready for a test, especially when failing can set you back in something you want to do.
Aside from that, my life recently has mostly been about work. I’ve been doing work at a store called “Timberland” through a temp agency. It’s been fun, though more-so because of the people than the work itself. The job is actually very simple and laid back, to the point that I sometimes feel a little bit guilty to be getting paid for doing so little. I’ve never had that sort of luxury at any of my other retail jobs.
As a follow up to my ‘Everything…’ entry, I finally got some actual results from the doctors visits, and have been put on some crazy drug to just slow my heart rate down. So aside from the drugs completely killing my appetite, i’m back to normal now. Hurrah!
Apologies to anyone that actually checks this site, for the repeated dullness of entries. I’ll try and come up with something at least remotely interesting to write about, but you might have to bear with me, as that requires something remotely interesting to actually happen.
Edit: I posted all that, then realised that I forgot to mention the only interesting thing that happened last week. It was my birthday, I turned 20. Quite uneventful, but nice none the less.
