Hi! been trying to follow your guide and couldn’t make it work. I’m using MYSQL Cluster 7.1, My haproxy is currently version 1.4.4 and planning to update to 1.4.7 is above config for haproxy can be used on this version?

Everytime I tried to connect mysql node I have this error

ERROR 2013 (HY000): Lost connection to MySQL server at ‘reading initial communication packet’, system error: 0

Please help been trying to google how to load balance mysql cluster….

Hi Willy,

I didn’t thank you publicly for this… So here it is! Thank you very much for the comment, and letting me know about the potential issues.

I’m going to make sure we compile from source in production environments, it’s such a shame that the Debian/Ubuntu package maintainers will not keep the package up to date.

Hi Dan,

be careful, you appear to be running version 1.3.15.2 which is completely outdated and has numerous bugs. If you want to stay on 1.3.15.X, you should update to at least 1.3.15.10. Otherwise, update to 1.3.22 or 1.3.23.
