Anyone that knows me will know I’ve been interested in forum software for years. I’ve run a few IP.Board forums, and had several phpBB, YaBB and Ikonboard forums before that, amongst others. I’ve also been a member of the IPS community forums since 2003, and masses of other forums too.
One of my favourite sites a few years ago was The Forum Insider. The site was set up to track the forum software industry, discuss the latest advancements, share ideas for the future of forums. Unfortunately, the site went through a long period of no updates, followed by being shut down, never to return.
I contacted the domain owners (IPS) a few weeks ago and they agreed to let me reopen the site, which I’ve done. So here it is: Forum Insider is back.
As you’ll see, we have a few interviews up already, but aside from that the site is a little lacking in both content and a design of it’s own. I’ll get it there, bare with me. In the mean time, please sign up and join in!
