Sounds good... the only thing that concerns me is that the VPS.NET console sometimes reports the server as turned off, when it's actually "Running a task", and if you tell it to power on it'll get stuck, and be impossible to turn on without a ticket to support.

Hi!
Well done!!
I purchased a runabout & informed them of 2 seperate problems within 10 days.
Iv a 30 day guarantee, which they say will only cover £500 worth of work.
The cost of repairs stands at 4 x that amount.
No where on the guarantee does it state limitations - apparently it 'on large posters around the showroom'!
I'd like to contact Ian McCandlish myself.,,, would you be so kind as to forward his email contact details to me?

Hi Steve,

I do indeed very actively follow up on comments on this site. :)

I think the best review I can give you now, over six months after signing up with them, is that I:

1. Still use them for this site, and my personal sites.
2. Have just left my previous job, and have set up the new hosting platform for my new company on VPS.NET.
3. Know that my previous employer is still using them, and since I wrote this post has expanded to almost 50 servers with them.

They're great, Steve, and I'm not just saying that as an affiliate. Sure, they have problems sometimes such as gigantic DDoS attacks or hardware failures, but they're transparent about them and afterwards they'll invest to try and make sure they never happen again.

If you've got any questions, let me know, I'd be happy to help out.

So, dont know if you follow up comments on old posts, but just wondered if you are still using VPS.net and still find them great?

The solution looks brilliant, but the reviews of the company look really bad! Now this might just be because they got a whole load of non techie customers who are used to shared cPanel, or it could mean they suck!

Whats you opinion of them now?
